My passion lies in helping children, teenagers & adults cultivate positive change & resilience. Art psychotherapy is a transformative process requiring no artistic skill. I tailor every session to meet the unique & evolving needs of each individual. With over 25 Years as a teacher, educator & credentialed art psychotherapist, I specialise in providing holistic support for people of all backgrounds.

What is Art Psychotherapy?​

A form of psychotherapy that uses visual & tactile media to express & process complex & confusing emotions. It facilitates self-expression, communication & personal development, ultimately providing an avenue for growth & wellbeing.

Who I work with

Children, adolescents and adults, especially those experiencing any of the following:

  • Major life transitions

  • Difficulty expressing emotions verbally

  • Mental health disorders, including depression, burnout, anxiety, PTSD & ADHD

  • Communication challenges, e.g. those caused by autism spectrum disorder

  • Trauma

  • Chronic illness & medical conditions

Services

Initial assessment and goal setting: The first appointment, a 30 to 45-minute session dedicated to assessing your needs and setting short-term goals, is priced at a reasonable €50, ensuring you receive valuable insights at an affordable cost.

 

Individual session rates: An individual session of 60 minutes costs €60 (art materials provided).

 

Introductory package for children and adolescents: The first meeting is with the parents or legal guardians for therapy sessions intended for your child or adolescent unless otherwise requested. I offer an introductory package of 6 meetings for €300 (art materials provided), including one preliminary meeting (30 to 45 min.), four individual sessions of 60 minutes with the child or adolescent, and one feedback meeting for comments and decision regarding the continuation of therapy (30 to 45 min.).

 

Group therapy: Our rates for group therapy are designed to be inclusive, considering different criteria, such as the number of sessions and participants. We will communicate these rates to you when organizing the interventions, ensuring you feel considered and accommodated.

Reimbursements: In some countries, art psychotherapy may be partially or fully covered by health insurance or mutual insurance, especially if a doctor prescribes it or is part of a comprehensive treatment plan for a specific medical or psychological condition. Check with your insurance company or mutual insurance for reimbursement terms. Specific associations or foundations may offer financial assistance depending on your personal and economic situation.

 

Cancellation policy: We understand that unexpected events can occur. However, please cancel any appointment at least 48 hours in advance. Any appointment not cancelled within this timeframe will be charged €50.

It is in playing and only in playing that the individual child or adult is able to be creative and to use the whole personality, and it is only in being creative that the individual discovers the self.
